What is Shan Koe Mee?
Shan Koe Mee is a traditional card game played across Myanmar by people of all ages. This three-card game has been enjoyed at street stalls, market fairs, dinner gatherings, and family get-togethers for decades.
A standard 52-card deck is used, and each player receives 3 cards. The player whose cards add up to the highest total — or who holds a recognised winning combination — takes the round. The game's appeal comes from its simple rules and fast results, and playing on the sbo555 platform makes it even more convenient with 24/7 access.

Hand Rankings — Which Hand Wins?
Knowing the hand rankings in Shan Koe Mee is essential — it lets you read your 3-card hand instantly and know exactly where you stand.
Three Nines
The highest possible hand — all 3 cards showing the same single digit (e.g. 9-9-9). Beats every other hand on the table.
Three of a Kind
Three cards of the same face value (e.g. K-K-K or A-A-A). Loses only to Three Nines; beats everything else.
One Pair
Two of the 3 cards share the same value and the third does not. When two players both have a pair, the higher total wins.
Straight
All 3 cards are consecutive numbers (e.g. 5-6-7). This is a distinct hand that ranks above a plain point-total hand.
Flush
All 3 cards are the same suit (3 cards all ♠ or all ♥) — lower than a straight flush, and different from a regular straight.
Total board
Add up all 3 cards and compare by the last digit. 9 is the highest, 0 is the lowest — the simplest board type.
Strategy summary to win
In Shan Koe Mee, strategy and good decision-making give you a better chance of winning than luck alone. Combine these tips with your own style of play.
- Read your board straight away — as soon as you get 3 cards, check the total and whether you have a combination. Taking longer does not mean a bad decision — only fold a weak board.
- Set a budget — each session, put in only the amount you decided on beforehand. Do not chase losses by adding more money.
- Read the other players — in a live game, watch how others decide and use that to judge how strong your own board is — but always make your in-game decisions yourself.
- Do not assume today is your lucky day — in a card game, reading your current board accurately is what matters most. Decisions driven by yesterday's losses can cost you even more.
- Manage your winnings well — keep in mind that continuing to play after a good win can mean losing it back. Withdrawals at sbo555 take 5–30 minutes, which is fast and reliable.
